See, sip and eat at Temecula Valley Balloon & Wine Festival
Last weekend, Toyota sent me on a staycation to Temecula to enjoy a glass of wine, food and music at the Temecula Valley Balloon & Wine Festival. I mean, how can anyone say no to that offer? I got to see Bush live, which was pretty cool (especially for me because my heart never really left the 90s) and I did a bit of shopping. But first, we took a few style pictures of me with the new Camry XSE because it really is a beauty. I mean, look at those hood lines and sport mesh front grille. And that red. Isn’t it a gorgeous?
Before I get into the details of the festival, I have to give you a few details about the cool features.
The Camry XSE is designed for people who dare to be bold. It’s got attitude. So if you’re looking for a car to match your sass, this one is definitely for you. The interior is sporty and super roomy with a multimedia system for the music lovers. We listened to our favorite hip-hop songs on the drive to Temecula and brought it down with some jazz on the ride back home, which was super smooth thanks to the cars’ V6 power.
I’ve lived in LA for about 13 years (omg!) and have never been to Temecula. If you love wine, a quaint, historic city and beautiful views it’s a great city to visit. If you love music and food (and who doesn’t?), here are a few things to do at the Temecula Valley Balloon & Wine Festival next time they come around.

Hot Air Balloons
This was pretty cool. I had never seen hot air balloons up close, so I had no idea they were that massive. As the balloons expand, music plays and the crowd cheers. It’s beautiful to see and experience under a star-lit sky.
Wine and Spirits
There was no shortage of wine and beer. Whether you like a Merlot or a brew, you’re set. Pairing is at your finger tips.
Music
The line-up won my 90s heart over. I was only there on Saturday so I missed Friday’s performances. But Gin Blossoms and Bush took the stage and it was so much fun to sing along to old favorites with so many people. Everything zen, I don’t think so. Oh, the memories.
Food
Whether you love a good salad or an indulgent burger, there’s a lot to choose from. Of course, I went the unhealthy route but I was in the mood for chips drowning in cheese. Can I live?
Shopping
I couldn’t decide if I wanted a hand-crafted bag, a dress or a sun hat. I chose the latter because I loved the fit and it was really sunny when we go there. It was fun going from shop to shop with a wine in hand.
The visit was way too short. We stopped by old town Temecula the next day and fell in love. The trip was a much needed staycation, and plant to go back to do some more site-seeing. Thank you so Toyota Latino. The smooth drive and singing at the top of my lungs under a moonlit sky was the highlight!
