high-rise denim

What was life before high-rise denim? I’ll tell you what it was. It was a life of mufffin top inducing mid-rise jeans. That’s what it was. As soon as this trend hit the market years ago, I jumped on board. However, I know a lot of ladies who aren’t convinced that these are the way to go yet.

Why?

Well, if you’ve got a pooch it can enhance it. I find that high-rise denim that are not so stretchy help with that (Levis are the best). Although, a lot more comfortable, too much stretch starts to take the shape of things we’re trying to hide. Also, invest in some not-so-sexy high-rise tummy flattening underwear.
