Style & beauty tips for women entrepreneurs
I just started my business and I can already tell you that my beauty and style routine has drastically changed. My schedule is different everyday, which means that I need to rely on go-to makeup products and looks and staple pieces in my closet for meetings and events.
If you’re in the same boat, here are 3 style and beauty tips for women entrepreneurs:
Hair care
This one is huge for me. I have so much hair. It’s curly. It’s frizzy. It’s out of control. I do blow-outs but the older I get the more daunting it is to constantly have to do my hair. Plus, the heat damage is not good. These days, I rely on a good cut with layers (to remove split ends), a great blow dryer and dry shampoo (for emergencies). I also make sure to keep my hair as hydrated as possible with coconut, olive and almond oils. The key is, no matter your hair texture, is that it’s healthy.

Makeup essentials
Set aside your everyday makeup essentials and make the convenient for you to use. I suggest keeping the following handy: concealer, mascara, blush, tinted lip balm, makeup wipes. Keep it simple. You’re about to get really busy.
Style staples
As much as I love clothes, I find shopping to be an overwhelming experience. My day is so different from one day to the next that I don’t even know what to shop for most of the time. I feel like I need all-the-things, and then I end up not not getting anything at all. If you have the same issue, I suggest using a styling service like Stitchfix. A stylist basically curates looks for you based on your size, taste and budget. The items are delivered to your door. Whatever you don’t like, you can easily send back in a pre-paid shipping bag that comes with your delivery. The blazer I’m wearing came in my last Fix, and has been perfect for meetings, events, you name it. Great quality and fit, and white is just so chic.
