White jumpsuit
Posting an Instagram or writing a blog post seems trivial to me right now, but I need to get back into the swing of things. It’s been a rough week. The election results hit me like a ton of bricks, and every time I turn on the news it just seems like there’s one bad announcement after another. I have so much I want to say, but I’m exhausted by all of it. I’m still processing what happened and what this all means as a Latina mother and woman.
It’s very easy to get sucked into the news and the conversations that everyone’s talking about, but I’m slowly trying to find the balance between making a difference, shutting off the noise and resuming where I left off before November 8th.
So where was I? Oh yes. Here. At #WeAllGrowFAMILIA at Munchkin Headquarters. These images were taken in October so there’s no symbolic meaning to my wearing white. It’s simply what I wore to this particular work event, and I love it. To give it more of a “Fall” look, I paired my jumpsuit with suede camel heels and a red lip. When I cover events, I’m on my feet all day so it’s important for me to find pieces that are low maintenance but stylish. Jumpsuits are perfect for that. It’s really starting to become my signature look, and I’m totally digging it.
This baby is going in my suitcase for a trip I have this week. A seriously much needed road trip. You can follow along on my Instagram and Twitter. I will also be sharing the fun at @weallgrowlatina.
(Shew. There. I did it. I wrote a post. Baby steps.)

Shutting off the noise and resuming back to where we were before the election results is seriously the most positive advice. Thank you for sharing this and can I just say that white suit is to die for?
