The casual life

I typically share my more dressier looks on the blog because, well, I actually don’t have a real reason why. I guess I felt that if I was going to go out of my way to shoot pics, it should be more of an occasion. It’s been tricky fitting in shoots, work, parenting and life all in one week. But as the team grows bigger at my day job, I’ve been able to have more creative time in the evenings and weekends for my own passions.

Truth is, I’m mostly in denim (and yoga pants but that’s another post). And when the weather is cool, a slouchy sweater is my go-to when I go out. Part of my 2017 blog goals are to share more snippets of my life, including casual looks, health and wellness tips, simple recipes and everything I do to make the everyday as fuss-free as possible.

This look is super affordable. There’s a whole lot of H&M, Forever 21, Kohl’s and WSS going on here (expect the jeans, which are Rag & Bone). I work from home, so I like to wear things that can go from my home office to school meetings to drinks with friends. You don’t need to spend a lot to pull off a chic casual look.
