Ruffles and fringe
Over the last few months, I’ve been jumping from conference to conference. A career in the digital space requires ‘in real life’ connections. It’s a crucial investment if you want to see your company grow. It’s expensive and time-consuming but the benefits outweigh all of that, provided you go with the goal to meet people (it won’t happen if you stay within your small circle or hang out at the hotel poolside by yourself).
The prep time for me when I go to conferences takes forever, especially if I’m traveling. I want to make sure that I present well while being comfortable. This may also sound vain, but I don’t like repeating my outfits too much in this space. With bloggers abound photographing everywhere, I try to switch up my looks.
Stitchfix has helped me keep my looks fresh without the hassle of going to the mall or scouring the internet for something new and fun to wear (that won’t break the bank), like this cute number by Cooper & Ella. I mean, I do end up at the stores (because that’s just me) but it feels good to have options delivered to my door. Here are some other looks I put together using Stitchfix services.

If you’re not familiar with them, it’s a styling service that curates looks for you based on your taste. You get 5 items in your fix but only pay for what you love. Not interested? Send back the rest in a pre-paid shipping bag. If you keep all five pieces, you get a 25% discount on your entire purchase. Shipping and returns are always free. Simple.
Next up is Mom 2.0., which is always a fun time. Excited to see women I’ve admired for years. The conference is taking place May 2-4. Make sure you follow along on the gram.
