This collaboration with WSS has opened me up to the world of sneakers again. In my first post with WSS, I mentioned that sneaker buying was not something I really do unless it’s for working out. For casual wear? Not so much these days. No idea why. When I was younger, I couldn’t live my without my chucks. As I got older, the world of heels and cute flats steered me away from rubber soled classic beauties like these. How sad is that?

I walked into WSS and immediately pointed at these Chuck Taylor like, these are mine! They gave me all the nostalgia feels. Back in the day, they were part of my everyday plaid mini-skirt and tee look (oh, the 90s). Today, I’m loving them with a slouchy sweater or vest with denim. The styling styling possibilities are endless with Chuck Taylors. They add the perfect touch to any look you choose for going out shopping or hanging out with friends.

If you’re not familiar with this store, they are the largest neighborhood retail in the west coast with over 70 locations in California, Las Vegas and Phoenix with brands like Nike, Jordan, Adidas, Converse, Under Armor, New Balance, Asics, Vans, Puma, and Sketchers. If you’re not on this side of town, you can order online. I’ve got my eye on pair of gray Chuck Taylors and Pumas. If you’re going to do old school, do it up.
