Blush vest

It’s crunch time as we prepare for our 3rd annual #WeAllGrow Summit! I still have not picked out all of my outfits for this three day event starting on March 1st. One thing is for sure, I will need to wear flats because heels are just not smart for conferences if you’re spending the whole day on your feet like me (trust me, my feet hated me last year). I know, I know. I wore them here and here. But I wasn’t working those events. When you’re attending, you can throw on your diva heels. When you’re working, comfort is priority.

For our conference, I’m overseeing our social media strategy on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. I have a right-hand man coordinator with me and nine awesome volunteers. We all need to make sure that the events are not only beautifully covered and live-streamed but that all the sponsor messaging is correct (hashtags, tags, company goals). This is all live, so there really is no room for error. That means lots of running around for me because things happen. All day long.

One item I’m definitely packing with me is this blush vest. It’s so versatile, and I love how you can just throw it on to add an extra layer to your outfit. In fact, I’m such a fan of this color and length, I picked out a similar one to wear with my white jumpsuit. I may wear on the second day of the conference, I haven’t decided just yet!
