Year of the Rabbit

We joined the Year of the Rabbit celebration this year because it’s my son’s sign, and because Los Angeles always throws an awesome, colorful fun parade.

My little guy pretty much fits all of the personality traits of those born under this sign, which is great because his mom was born during the year of the Ox (ahem, stubborn). People born under the sign of the rabbit are known to be easy going and love to offer advice (that’s my son!). They’re calm and have the reputation for staying cool as a cucumber under stressful situations.

Rabbits are known for being able to control their emotions but I have read that they do tend to worry a lot. He’s also a Libra, and they’re known to be kind and gentle but they end up saying “yes” too much, which can cause them stress. He’s still a kid but I can definitely see a bit of that surfacing. I guess we will just have to wait and see, but I think it’s pretty cool to see that these two signs have a lot in common.

The parade was so beautiful and fun. We couldn’t leave without something to celebrate the year. We got this rabbit for my son’s room to remind him of his calm, beautiful nature.
