Supporting Japan

The “Gateway Japan” opening I blogged about yesterday also included a fundraiser. Artists were asked to donate art to the Torrance Art Museum. Every painting was marked at 50.00 with all proceeds going directly to the Red Cross in support of Japan. We purchased this adorable painting because it reminded us of our black cat, Angie. The name of the piece is called “Japan will rise again”. The only problem – the artist did not leave his/her name. If you were at the exhibit and happen to know who dropped this off (anyone out there in cyber world?) we would love to know.
