Blush and chambray

This former angsty Gen-Xer has officially embraced milennial blush. Because, why not. It’s so pretty! Ask me to wear pink when I lived in NYC, and the answer would have likely been no. It was black or nothing. But since moving to LA, I’ve embraced color a lot more (like this coral romper, bright coral top with yellow cluth and these green and yellow dresses). Give me all the color. 

When it comes to shoes however…I typically play it safe with colors because I want to get the most out of them by wearing them with different looks. I recently went to DSW on the hunt for (yet another) pair of nude pumps (like these) or ankle strap heels. Lo and behold, I found these sweet clear chunky heels that I can’t get enough of. I was so inspired by these shoes, I decided to start adding more remix outfit posts to this blog. I wore this chambray jumpsuit in another post, but look at the difference a few accessories and a shoe change makes. Hmmm, I smell a series coming up. Style remix? Style revamp? I’ll do some thinking about that. In meantime, I picked a few favs for you!
