Pork chops and apples

how to make pork chops with apples
Every holiday season, my mom sends us a huge Harry & David package filled with desserts, steaks, chicken, fish, pork chops and my son’s favorite gourmet hot dogs. It’s such a wonderful treat and takes the guess work out of what I’m going to cook during these lazy days. I decided to search for a few recipes to switch up the pork chops. My go-to is usually to fry it up or bake with a sprinkle of Adobe and garlic (with white rice and black beans). But I found this Simple Pork Chops With Apples on The Spruce, and it was so good I needed to share.

The only thing I did different was that I used Adobo (because Puerto Rican) instead of salt and pepper, I used white wine, I added thyme and I baked the chops in a clay pot. Other than that, I followed the directions and everything came out perfect. It was so good, and a wonderful break from the way I normally prepare pork. It seriously took no time at all.
