Jacquard poncho

Can I just wear  a poncho for the next few months? They’re always my go-to this time of year. During these months, LA tends to be cloudy and rainy, work is on overload as we prep for our conference and I’m usually working on several freelance projects. I love this Stitchfix two-in-one off the shoulder number. Dadly it’s already sold out, and I didn’t see many like to choose from. I hope they bring it back. My friends and I joke around about caftans and ponchos being a must as you get older. I have no qualms channeling my inner Mrs. Roper. With every year that goes by, I’m totally appreciating the ease and style of draping fabrics.

I loved the pattern so much we made the most of this shoot by stopping the San Gabriel Mission Playhouse for some inspiration. It’s a historic beautiful place that houses a variety of musical performances and plays. I have not gone to watch anything as yet for the exception of a show my son was part of years ago. He took hip-hop dance classes. I remember thinking it was a beautiful space with a really great stage. They have a Flamenco show I have my eye on. 

The area is also a haven for restaurants (You must try Luna across the street) and shops. Grab your poncho and stop on by.
