This harem jumpsuit has officially become my outfit for the summer. Not kidding when I say they have served me well in a pinch. Sure, they’re not easy to wear and they require a belt so I won’t look like a hefty bag. And they absolutely need heels … Otherwise, I look like a cross between Aladdin and MC Hammer with flats. But for BlogHer 14 parties, Latino Fashion Week and last night’s Beyonce and Jay Z’s concert – They’ve been beyond perfect. They’re comfortable, chic and too legit to quit (OK. I’ll stop now).

After declaring that I was going to do Friday recaps, I skipped last week and opted for Instagram. My little sister lives in Ecuador and flew in to stay with us for the rest of summer so it’s been very busy. She’s 11, and I can’t wait for you to meet her all. She will make her appearance on the blog soon enough. In the meantime, I’m working on a two week recap, which is turning out to be the mother of all blog posts but I love capturing moments and sharing them all.
