The color blue

Here is the one the outfits I wore to #WeAllGrow Summit 2017 in Long Beach (post coming soon!). I actually wore this on our first day to greet attendees who were headed out to field trips bright and early in the morning. I wanted something professional but comfortable to wear for this day. People are flying in from all over the country (and the world), I think it’s important that the team honor everyone’s time (and travels) by presenting well. Even if it means getting up at 5am to get this mane under control. When you’re the face of a company or in charge of an event, you should show up and show out so everyone feels welcomed and comfortable in your presence. When I need to be cool as a cucumber under pressure, I navigate toward the color blue.

For me, blue is tranquil and peaceful, and that’s how I want our attendees to feel around me. Like, we got this. Another one of my go-to colors is green, like this jumpsuit I wore to our Miami event.

To warm up the outfit, I coordinated with classic nude pumps, the cutest little smartphone purse and pink lip.
