Anthropologie me day

On Friday, I declared a ‘me’ day and headed directly to Anthropologie. That store gives me that “aaaaaahhhh” feeling when I walk in. It makes me want to wear aprons and pour lemonade into ornate goblets. The candles. The bedding. The accessories. The everything. It’s the only place that allows me to ponder things like ‘tea cups or belts?’ Decisions, decisions.

I fell in love with this Maeve dress. It has a retro feel and I love that it has pockets. Who doesn’t love a dress with pockets? Best thing ever. The silhouette is also a win/win for me.

Sometimes you gotta just have that time for yourself. Even if it’s just something simple like buying yourself a pretty dress or a new pair of shoes. You don’t even have to shop. Just get out and go for a walk. As women, we tend to put everything and everyone first. It’s OK to treat ourselves too!
